1. Trying Horses
We encourage all buyers to try any horse they are interested in without obligation. We provide excellent facilities for doing so. This is to satisfy yourself that the horse you are buying is suitable for both the rider and the discipline required. Horses are tried at riders own risk.
2. Reserves and Deposits
If you wish to reserve a horse (which means we remove him or her from the market) a 10% cash deposit of the horse's market value is required. We have been forced to introduce this policy as a result of the many people who put in a "FIRM" offer, but then change their minds at a later date, resulting in lost time and money. The reserve deposit is refundable if the horse should fail it's vet inspection. PLEASE NOTE; A deposit is only valid for 7 days (from trial of the horse to it's vet inspection, unless otherwise agreed). We have new buyers looking for horses at all times, therefore we cannot hold horses beyond this period of time. Horses must be vetted within 1 week of trial and collected within 10 days of trial.
3. Vettings
You are welcome to have any horse that you are buying vet checked by your own vet. We can also supply you with a list of local impartial vets at your request.
4. Returns
Once a horse passes it's veterinary exam, we regard the horse as being sold. Therefore we have no legal obligation to take the horse back.
